Welcome to the Larches

The Larches is a large Edwardian House that has been the family home of Eric and Jane Lane since 1978.

We began to develop our Bed and Breakfast business and expand it as our young family departed. We now have 6 guest rooms and a downstairs flat.

Over the 16 years we have been running our Bed and Breakfast it has attracted a wide range of guests, many who have been returning regularly during the course of each year, which is very satisfying. This includes business people who are working in and around the Horsham area and often stay with us Monday to Friday. At weekends and holidays we often provide accommodation for guests who are attending wedding parties and family gatherings.

Our aim has always been to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible when staying with us. The facilities we provide are designed to offer all the home comforts needed. (See facilities description).

We have a separate entrance for guests and off-road parking for guests' vehicles and our own collection of classic cars.

Location

The Larches Bed and Breakfast is situated on the north east side of Horsham. We are 5 minutes from Littlehaven Halt train station 15 Minutes from Horsham train station. Both are on the main line from London Victoria to Portsmouth with trains going via Gatwick Airport and Crawley.

Horsham town centre is a 5 minute drive away, we are also on the bus route between Southwater, Horsham, Crawley and Gatwick. The south coast is a 45 minute drive away.

For Single non en/suite rooms there is a separate toilet, a separate shower room and a separate bathroom for your convenience. PRICES ARE PER ROOM PER NIGHT AND INCLUDE BREAKFAST UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. Rates for longer stays can be negotiated over the phone.

Facilities

All rooms come with the following facilities as standard:
» Television, Video player, Freeview, WI.FI enabled with free access to your laptop, Central Heating.
» Table top fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, hair dryer, bottle opener and wine glasses.
» Complimentary tray with tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits.
» We also offer an iron and ironing board for guests use.
» The shower room also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Breakfasts

Arrivals

Are normally available from 7.30am to 8.30am weekdays and until 9.30am at weekends. We like to offer you, our guests, the meal you would prefer. Along with our cooked breakfast we always have cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, choice of teas and coffees. We can also cater for any special dietary requirements you may have.

Normally rooms are available from 12 noon and must be vacated by 11am. If you require earlier access this can normally be arranged with prior notice.

We can then arrange mutually convenient arrival times, discuss any special requirements you may have or answer any other questions that may arise.

Upon booking we require a confirmation letter or email and a deposit cheque. Deposits are non-refundable unless we receive 24 hours notice of cancellation. All payments are to be by cash or cheque, unfortunately we do not accept credit or debit cards.

» The Larches is a non-smoking house.
» Evening meals can be provided with 24 hours notice.
» Children are very welcome – as Grandparents we normally enjoy their company.
